KANSAS CITY — Starr Homes will partner with Notre Dame de Sion junior Kaitlyn Quinn and her family to support and raise awareness for youth affected by juvenile diabetes during the 2020 Artisan Home Tour.
Quinn serves as a JDRF ambassador, which is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. As part of the partnership, she will shadow Starr Homes and its team during the construction of a new custom home as well as raise awareness for the tour and the charity.
Starr’s home is a 1 1/2 story plan measuring 13,925 total square feet.
There will be six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. Two highlights from this floor plan will be bowling alley and volleyball court included in the home. It will be located at 10670 W. 192nd Place. The home is currently under construction.
The Artisan Home Tour, which takes place this June, is a ticketed and charitable event which occurs every 2 years, featuring eight custom builders from Kansas City. The homes are open to the public for three straight weekends and a portion of ticket sales go toward the tour’s charitable partner. Tickets will go on sale in April for $30 online before the tour, $35 at the home, or $10 for one home only.
