FORT WORTH, Tex. — Riverside Homebuilders set aside $250 from new home sales this fall as part of their Back-to-School Home Sale. Each homebuyer had the opportunity to designate a school as the recipient of their contribution and so far their donations have reached $7,000 and benefitted 25 schools in 15 cities.
“We don’t just build here. We live here, too,” said Todd Greenfield, Riverside Homebuilders’ Vice President of Marketing. “Our kids go to these schools and we know how hard teachers work. This is our way of thanking the real unsung heroes in our cities and towns.”
Recipients ranged from elementary schools to intermediate, high schools, and one college. Donations have already been allocated for scholarships, supplies, and much-needed equipment.
